E3: Check ECM Ground

With EM010 disconnected measure the resistance between EM010/023 and ground EM008L

- Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?
Yes
GO to E4 E4: End
No
Inspect EM010 for bent/pushed back pins or locate and repair harness/splice EMS36. Repair as necessary and test the system for normal operation.
