BB1 RETRIEVE DTCS

Note: Battery and or ECM disconnection prior to scanning will erase all data, ensure that the correct DTC is present.





2. Connect scan tool
3. Record DTC(s), freeze frame data and
GO toY2

BB2 CHECK IAT SENSOR RANGE





1. Ignition switch to position 0
2. Disconnect PI003. Below air intake
3. Check for short between sensor pins 1 and 2.Resistance less than 100 Ohms?
Yes: Renew sensor and proceed to BB4
No: Go to BB3

BB3 CHECK FOR SHORT TO GROUND





1. Ignition switch to position 0
2. Disconnect PI003. Below air intake
3. Ignition switch to position II
4. Measure the voltage between connector PI003/002 and ground (EM008L). 0V?
Yes: Inspect harness/connector (PI001/015) for short to ground. Repair as necessary and test the system for normal operation.

No: Go to BB4

BB4 END

1. Perform appropriate service drive cycle and check for the presence of DTC.
Has the fault code cleared?
Yes: STOP
No: Contact Jaguar Service
