Fuel Pump: Description and Operation

Fuel Pump

The fuel pump(s) is energized by an ECM controlled relay. Fuel is drawn by this pump and supplied to the fuel injectors by the fuel line, filter and fuel rails. Servicing of the fuel pump requires fuel tank removal.
