E1: CHECK THE STOP LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POSITIVE VOLTAGE
1. Switch the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the DSC control module electrical connector FH51.
3. Switch the ignition to the RUN position.
4. Measure for voltage between the DSC control module electrical connector FH51 pin 21, and GROUND FH51 pin 32, (B).
^ Is there a voltage value?
-> Yes
Goto [E2]
-> No
INSTALL a new DSC control module. CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

E2: CHECK THE CONTINUITY OF THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH
1. Disconnect the brake light switch electrical connector.
2. Measure the resistance across the brake light switch.
^ Is the resistance less than 0.5 ohms?
-> Yes
INSTALL a new brake light switch. CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
-> No
REPAIR the wire between brake light switch electrical connector CA37 pin 2, (OU) and DSC control module electrical connector FH51 pin 21, (OG). CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
