O1: CHECK RESISTANCE OF THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED SENSOR
1. Disconnect the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10.
2. Measure the resistance between the intermediate shaft speed sensor pin 1 and pin 2.
^ Is the resistance between 390 and 410 Ohms?
-> Yes
Goto [02]
-> No
INSTALL a new intermediate shaft speed sensor. CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

O2: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY TO THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED SENSOR
1. Switch the ignition to the RUN position.
2. Measure the resistance between intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 2, (NY) and GROUND
^ Is the resistance less than 0.5 Ohms?
-> Yes
Goto [O3]
-> No
REPAIR the circuit between the GROUND supply electrical connector GBS1 and the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 2, (NY). CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

O3: CHECK THE CONTINUITY OF THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT
1. Switch the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Measure the resistance between the GROUND supply electrical connector GBS1 and the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 2, (NY).
^ Is the resistance less than 0.5 Ohms?
-> Yes
REPAIR the circuit between the GROUND supply electrical connector GBS1 and the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 2, (NY). CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
-> No
Goto [O4]

O4: CHECK THE CONTINUITY OF THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect the PCM electrical connector GB1.
2. Measure the resistance between the PCM electrical connector GB1 pin 21, (WB) and the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 1, (WB).
^ Is the resistance less than 0.5 Ohms?
-> Yes
REPAIR the circuit between the PCM electrical connector GB1 pin 21, (WB) and the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 1, (WB). CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
-> No
Goto [O5]

O5: CHECK THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
1. Measure the resistance between the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 1, (WB) and GROUND.
^ Is the resistance less than 0.5 Ohms?
-> Yes
REPAIR the circuit between the PCM electrical connector GB1 pin 21, (WB) and the intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector GB10 pin 1, (WB). CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
-> No
INSTALL a new PCM. CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
