Audible Warning Device: Description and Operation

Locations:

The driver warning chime provides the driver with an audible warning:
- when the key is in the ignition and the driver door is open.
- when the key is in the ignition and the headlamps are on.
- when the key is in the ignition and the safety belt is not engaged.

The driver will also be provided with a visual message or visual warning displayed in the information message center (if fitted). The system uses a number of inputs to provide the driver with audible and visual warnings.
