Front Seat Cushion Cover - Vehicles With: Recaro Seats (76.70.33)

Removal

Driver seat and front passenger seat

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the seat control switch.

Driver seat

3. Remove the driver seat module (DSM).

Front passenger seat

4. Remove the passenger seat module (PSM).

5. Remove the seat base retaining nuts.







6. Detach the lower finish panel.







7. Detach the front seat cushion cover from the seat base.







8. Disconnect the front seat cushion heater mat electrical connector.







Front passenger seat

9. Disconnect the front passenger seat occupant classification sensor electrical connector.







10. Detach the front passenger seat occupant classification sensor.







Driver seat and front passenger seat

11. Detach the electrical connectors.







12. Disconnect the electrical connectors.







13. Detach the seat wiring harness.







14. Detach the seat wiring harness.







15. Remove the front seat cushion from the seat base.







16. Remove and discard the front seat cushion cover front retaining clips.







17. Detach the front seat cushion cover from the seat base.
- Remove and discard the hog rings.
- Release the retaining clips.







18. Remove and discard the front seat cushion cover retaining staples.







19. Detach the front seat cushion cover.







20. Remove the front seat cushion cover.
- Remove and discard the hog rings.







Installation

1. NOTE:
- Install new retaining staples.
- Install new hog rings.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Tighten to 25 Nm.
