Powertrain Control Module (PCM) 18.30.29
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the PCM electrical connector.
3. Detach the generic electronic module (GEM) from the PCM.
1. Release the GEM locking tang.
2. Detach the GEM from the PCM.
4. Remove the PCM.
1. Remove the PCM retaining nut.
2. Remove the PCM.
5. Remove the PCM from the PCM retaining bracket.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Tighten to 10 Nm.
2. CAUTION: Make sure that the electrical connector locates correctly in the PCM. Do not force or overtighten the electrical connector.
Tighten to 10 Nm.
