Fuel Tank and Lines

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
- Make sure all electrical connectors are mated correctly.

- Fuel line(s) - Inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch
- Push connect fittings - Electrical connector(s)
- Fuel leak(s) - Damaged or corroded wiring harness
- Fuel filler cap - Fuel pump module
- Fuel tank filler pipe - Fuel transfer pump
- Fuel filter - Fuse(s)
- Fuel tank
- Fuel tank roll-over valve(s)

3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the cause is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Jaguar Approved Diagnostic System.
