Flywheel: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Remove the clutch disc and pressure plate. For additional information, refer to Clutch, M/T.
2. NOTE: Prevent the flywheel from rotating.
Remove the flywheel.
Installation
1. NOTE: Make sure the crankshaft and flywheel mating faces are clean before installation.
NOTE: The flywheel will only locate in one position.
NOTE: Tighten the retaining bolts working diagonally.
Install the flywheel.
- Prevent the flywheel from rotating.
- Tighten to 80 Nm.
2. Install the clutch disc and pressure plate. For additional information, refer to Clutch, M/T.
