Mechanical, Electrical and Trim, remove and install:
Hood (bonnet) insulation (8 x plastic clips)
Hood (bonnet) locks (4 x 10 mm bolts)
Hood (bonnet) sprung safety latch (3 x T30 Torx screws)
Hood (bonnet) weather strip centre

MET Tools
10 mm socket
3/8" drive ratchet
Torx screwdriver
T30 Torx bit
Suitable trim tool

Panel Tools
13 mm socket
3/8" drive ratchet
Torque wrench

01. The hood (bonnet) is a category B bolt on panel. Remove MET items as listed.







02. Unbolt hood (bonnet) from hinges as indicated (13 mm nuts).







03. Remove and fit new panel. Fit and re-trim panel in reverse order.







04. Torque settings:
- Hood (bonnet) to hinges
(13 mm nuts) 17.5 Nm.

On completion of panel replacement, the following checks should be carried out:
1. Panel gaps (as indicated).
2. Hinge operation.
3. Lock alignment.
4. MET operation.
