A : P0568. Check Speed Control Input Wire For Open Circuit/High Resistance

A1 : CHECK STEERING WHEEL CASSETTE FOR OPEN CIRCUIT/HIGH RESISTANCE (INPUT)
1. Disconnect steering wheel Cassette connector, FC117.
2. Reconnect steering wheel internal connector, SQ02.
3. Measure the resistance between SQ02, pin 1 and FC117, pin 8 (YR).

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
Goto A2

No
INSTALL a new steering wheel Cassette assembly. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

A2 : CHECK STEERING WHEEL CASSETTE FOR OPEN CIRCUIT/HIGH RESISTANCE (SIGNAL)
1. Disconnect steering wheel cassette connector, FC117.
2. Measure the resistance between SQ02, pin 3 and FC117, pin 6 (YG).

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
Goto A3

No
INSTALL a new steering wheel cassette assembly. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

A3 : CHECK INPUT LEAD FROM PCM TO STEERING WHEEL CASSETTE FOR OPEN CIRCUIT/HIGH RESISTANCE
1. Disconnect PCM electrical connector, PI01.
2. Measure the resistance between FC117, pin 8 (YR) and PI01, pin 47 (YR).

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
Goto A4

No
Repair the circuit between PI01, pin 47 and FC117, pin 8. For additional information, refer to wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

A4 : CHECK SIGNAL LEAD FROM PCM TO STEERING WHEEL CASSETTE FOR OPEN CIRCUIT/HIGH RESISTANCE
1. Measure the resistance between FC117, pin 6 (YG) and PI01, pin 48 (YG).

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
INSTALL new speed control switch. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

No
Repair the circuit between PI01, pin 48 and FC117, pin 6. For additional information, refer to wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
