Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview



Inspection and Verification
1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

NOTE: All HIVAC tests should be run in an ambient temperature of at least 10 degree C (50 degree F)

Visual Inspection Chart

Mechanical Electrical
- Refrigerant (fill level, leakage) - Fuse(s)
- Drive belt damage - Electrical connector(s)
- Heater control flaps - Wiring harness for damage or corrosion
- Air conditioning compressor - Blower motor
- Cooling fan motor

1. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
2. If the cause is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Jaguar Approved Diagnostic System.
