Instrument Panel
Removal
All vehicles
1. Remove the console.
2. Remove the climate control panel.
3. Remove the navigation system display module (if equipped).
4. Remove the instrument cluster.
5. Remove the passenger air bag module.
6. Remove the steering column.
7. Remove the headlamp switch.
Vehicles With Manual Transmission
1. Remove the gear selector knob.
2. Detach the gear selector surround.
3. Remove the gear selector surround.
- Detach the reverse gear interlock mechanism.
- Remove the gear selector surround.
All vehicles
1. Remove the right hand end panel.
- Detach the front door opening weather strip.
- Remove the right hand end panel.
2. Remove support panel.
3. Remove the lower vent.
- Detach the bulb holder.
- Remove the lower vent.
4. Remove the instrument panel retaining screws.
5. Detach the electrical harness.
6. Remove the instrument panel retaining screw.
7. Remove the instrument panel retaining screws.
8. Remove the left hand end panel.
- Detach the front door opening weather strip.
- Remove the left hand end panel.
9. Remove the lower vent.
- Detach the bulb holder.
- Remove the lower vent.
10. Remove the instrument panel retaining screws.
11. Detach the electrical harness.
12. Remove the instrument panel retaining screw.
13. Remove the instrument panel retaining screws.
14. Remove and discard the pop rivets.
15. Remove the instrument panel.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
