Door Glass Not Closing Fully

CONDITION SUMMARY:

DOOR GLASS NOT CLOSING FULLY

A customer may report a concern that a door window may be stopping short of full closure. Wind noise and possible water ingress may be a result.

Situation:
A fault with the electronic parameters in the anti-trap feature of the window regulator may be the cause.

Action:
Should a customer report this concern, and the condition has been verified, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to install a latest specification window regulator.

INSTALL LATEST SPECIFICATION WINDOW REGULATOR

NOTE:

1. Determine which window regulator is not closing fully.

2. Refer to GTR Section 501-11 operation 86.25.04 or 86.25.09 and install the latest specification front or rear window regulator.

3. Verify proper operation and full closure of installed window regulator.
