CONDITION SUMMARY:

COOLANT LEAK FROM THE EXPANSION TANK

Situation:
A customer may report a concern of a coolant leak from the engine area. The coolant leak may be caused by the expansion tank bleed tube fracturing where the bleed tube meets the tank. The coolant leak can lead to an engine overheat condition.

Action:
Should a customer express concern, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to install a new specification coolant expansion tank.
