PINPOINT TEST G426404p3 : DTC B2829: EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT TEST

G426404t10 : CHECK THE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2. Disconnect the rear climate control module connector RA01.
3. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector RA10.
4. Measure the resistance between the rear climate control module connector RA01, pin 09 (G) and GROUND.

- Is the resistance less than 10,000 ohms?

-> YES
REPAIR the short circuit. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> NO
INSTALL a new evaporator temperature sensor. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation. If the DTC is repeated, INSTALL a new rear climate control module.
