CONDITION SUMMARY:
ROOF OPENING PANEL DEFLECTOR IS LOOSE
Situation:
A concern may be reported that a roof opening panel air deflector has come loose. Poor retention of the air deflector to the glass panel may be the cause.
Action:
Should a concern be found, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to install edge clips to each air deflector to resolve the concern.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
INSTALL AIR DEFLECTOR CLIPS TO ROOF OPENING PANEL AIR DEFLECTOR

1. Refer to applicable model GTR Workshop Manual section 501-17 operation 76.82.07 and remove the right side and left side air deflector.
NOTE:
The air deflector clip is installed in the correct orientation when the open end of the clip is facing outward from the deflector bellow.
Figure one depicts the right side air deflector as it would be viewed from inside the vehicle looking out through the roof opening panel.
2. Measure 35 mm (1.4 in) from each end of an air deflector bellow, as illustrated in Figure 1, and install an edge clip.
3. Repeat step 2 to the opposite side air deflector.
4. Refer to GTR section 501-17 operation 76.82.07 and install the air deflector.
