Proper Clock Setting Procedure

CHANGED CLOCK SETTING PROCEDURE

Situation:
Some confusion exists about the proper method of setting in clocks in X-TYPE vehicles without Navigation after the above VIN. The procedure has changed as the result of the introduction of updated software.

Action:
Refer to GTR and access the vehicle Owner's Handbook Supplement for detailed information on setting the clock.

NOTE:
To reset the clock to the new setting procedure Refer to GTR: Select 'View Owner Information" > "X-TYPE", > "Owner's Handbooks" > "Continue" > "X-TYPE and S-TYPE Handbook Supplement North American Markets Only - 2007 Model year" - JSA 18 02 24 701 (1)'.

PROCEDURE

ADVANCED MODE SELECTION AND CLOCK SETTING

NOTE:
Short presses of the MODE button will scroll through the mode level 2 menu. When the desired mode is displayed, use the rotary volume control to adjust the setting.





Press and hold the "MODE" button or navigate to ADV MODE N/Y display, and turn the rotary volume control to select ADV MODE YES. The available modes selection sequence is:

Press and hold the MODE button to exit Advanced Mode back to the screen in use before.
