G542812t97: CHECK THE BRAKE SWITCH CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO POWER IN HARNESS

Electric parking brake module connector 2, CA266 disconnected. 3. Key on, engine off. 4. Make sure the brake pedal is not pressed. 5. Measure the resistance between:





^ Is the resistance greater than 100 Kohms?

-> Yes
GO to Pinpoint Test G542812t98.

-> No
GO to Pinpoint Test G542812t99.

G542812t98: CHECK THE BRAKE SWITCH CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUND IN THE HARNESS

1. Measure the resistance between:





^ Is the resistance greater than 100 Kohms?

-> Yes
The following items have not been fully tested EPB module - Brake switch - ECM

-> No
REPAIR the short circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams.

INSTALL a new brake switch.

-> No
