Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
Inspection and Verification1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of damage and system integrity.
3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the cause is not visually evident check the system for any logged Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and proceed to the DTC Index, alternatively, verify the customer concern and refer to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
