Procedure 5 - Lower Full Headliner

PROCEDURE 5: V00477 - V10285

NOTE:
LH motor is front blind; RH motor is rear blind.








1. Refer to Workshop Manual section 501-05 to remove the following:

^ Both sun visors

^ Both sun visor clips.

^ Both A-pillar trim panels.

^ Both B-pillar upper trim panels.

^ Both C-pillar upper trim panels.

2. Release all door seals. (RHD shown; LHD similar)





3. Release both headliner bolts

NOTE:
Do not remove the grab handles from the headliner.





4. Release both grab handles:

^ Loosen both Torx bolts from the roof mounting bracket, but do not remove them fully. Leave them threaded to the plastic spacer so the grab handle remains with the headliner.





5. Release the headliner:

^ Release the three clips.

CAUTION:
Ensure the headliner is fully supported and that the electrical harnesses are not damaged during headliner lowering.





6. With assistance, lower the headliner:

^ Release the 10 clips.

7. Continue to next appropriate Repair Procedure.
