With the DVD Player active.

SET CONDITION
The DVD player detects an inoperable disc.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Inoperative DVD

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

1. DVD DISC INOPERATIVE
Remove and replace the DVD Disc.

Q: Is DTC: B1423-VES DVD READ ERROR / INOPERABLE DISC active?

YES: Replace the Defective DVD Disc.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
NO: Test Complete.
