WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition on. DVD Player active.

SET CONDITION
The DVD player temperature is above 85° C (185° F).

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- DVD player high temperature

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

1. DVD PLAYER HIGH TEMPERATURE
Turn the ignition on.
With the Scan Tool, clear all VES DTC's.
Turn the VES on.
With the Scan Tool, read the DTC information.

Q: Does the Scan Tool read: B142B-VES UNIT HIGH TEMPERATURE?

YES: Turn the DVD player off and allow the unit to cool.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1. Body Verification Test
NO: Test Complete.
