C1243-G SENSOR NOT INITIALIZED

- When Monitored:

Once after ignition on.

- Set Condition:

If the stored zero point calibration value of the longitudinal acceleration sensor is invalid.





Diagnostic Test

1. PERFORM ECU INITIALIZATION

Turn the ignition on.

With the scan tool, erase ABS DTCs.

Cycle the ignition switch.

WARNING: Ensure brake capability is available before road testing.

Perform ECU initialization with drive test. Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. ABS Verification Test

NOTE: The ECU Initialization process must include driving the vehicle into a 90� turn.

Park the vehicle.

Does this DTC reset?

Yes

NOTE: Vehicles without a Dynamics Sensor replace Anti-Lock Brake Module.
Replace the Dynamics Sensor.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. ABS Verification Test

No

- Refer to the ABS-INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. ABS Intermittent Condition Test
