P2269- WATER IN FUEL CONDITION

- When Monitored:

With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:

The Water In Fuel Sensor indicates the presence of water in the fuel for 7.0 seconds.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.


Diagnostic Test

1. CHECK FOR WATER IN FUEL

Turn the ignition off.

Inspect the vehicle fuel supply system for the presence or water or other contaminants.

Is there evidence of water or other contaminants in the fuel?

Yes

- Drain and replace the vehicle's fuel supply.

No

- Replace the Water In Fuel Sensor.
