Remote Battery Replacement

1992-1993 RR CLASSIC
Normal life of a battery is one year, however, it may vary depending on the conditions and the amount of usage. To replace:





1. Place the transmitter on a flat surface with the button facing downward. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the battery case screws.





2. While holding the transmitter with the button facing up, remove the top cover by gently lifting the lower end (key chain end) and pulling it. DO NOT PRY!





3. Remove the old battery and insert a new battery (do not touch any parts inside the transmitter). Be certain to install battery correctly to match battery polarity, negative (-) side facing up.
4. Replace the top cover by inserting the upper end first.
5. Replace battery case screws and tighten.
6. Press the button to confirm that the LED indicator light is bright. If not, repeat the above procedure and check the battery polarity.
