Fuse & Fuse Box Identification and Location

Fuse Box

The fuse box on the lower fascia contains blade type fuses (plus spares) each of which is colour coded and marked with its continuous current rating.

To gain access, the right-hand side of the cover should be drawn forward approximately 20 mm (3/4 in) and the complete cover moved slightly to the right to release locating lugs and allow it to be lifted off.

A fuse extractor on the inside of the cover allows easy removal and replacement of any fuse. A label (Fig. RR3084) identifying the position of each fuse is also attached inside the cover.

Auxiliary fusebox 'D' (where applicable)

An auxiliary fusebox, two relays and a 3 amp inline fuse for seat/mirror fmemory) operation are located under the driver's seat. Access to the equipment is easier if the seat can be moved fully forward.

Access to the fuses is by lifting off the top cover of the fusebox. Fuse D1 is at the inboard end of the box.

Anti-lock braking system fuses

Fuses and relays for the ABS system are located under the front left-hand seat. Access to the fuses is by removal of the seat base outboard side cover.

Auxiliary fusebox (E)

Located inside the rear of the front passenger seat base, this fusebox is more easily accessible with the seat moved fully forward.
