Water Pump: Service and Repair

WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant.
3. Remove cooling fan and viscous coupling assembly.
4. Loosen water pump pulley bolts.
5. Remove water pump drive belt.
6. Remove water pump pulley.
7. Disconnect inlet hose from water pump.
8. Remove water pump and gasket.
. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specification.
