Vehicles within the above VIN range may exhibit a creak/squeal from the center console/dashboard. The noise is caused by the dash making contact with the center console in the area shown on the illustration.
PARTS INFORMATION
STC 3095 - Roll of Anti-Rattle Tape
PROCEDURE
Refer to workshop manual section 76, Center Console.
Loosen the center console and leave a small gap between the console and the dash. Fit two strips of the anti-rattle tape and position as detailed in the illustration.
Reposition and tighten the center console.
