DETAIL
The coolant/antifreeze protection level must be checked on those affected vehicles identified on the attached list

ACTION REQUIRED
Complete the steps below only on inventory vehicles to ensure that the coolant/antifreeze protection level is correct.

PARTS INFORMATION
RTC76O1 Coolant/antifreeze (as needed)

Tools required:
Antifreeze tester
Handheld liquid siphon pump

PROCEDURE

1. Check coolant/antifreeze protection level.

2. Record inadequate protection level readings onto a Product Report, and forward to your PSR.





3. Compare reading to chart.





4. Prior to coolant refill, perform the following: Remove the expansion tank cap. Disconnect the bleed pipe from the top of the radiator. Blow through the pipe with an air line to clear any air locks. Connect the bleed pipe to the radiator.

5. Correct the coolant/antifreeze level as necessary by siphoning / draining and refilling system with coolant/antifreeze or water.
