DETAIL
On 1994-96 Discovery vehicles the rear stub axle oil seals may leak. The following procedure has been developed to replace the stub axle seal with an improved design. If the stub axle seal is observed to be leaking, the stub axle seal on the opposite side of the axle must also be replaced.
The diagnostic steps and repair procedures detailed on the following pages were developed as an element of the Land Rover Way OPERATION PRIDE. This TIB provides a library location for PRIDE information within the Land Rover North America technical literature system.
