Some Discoverys in the above VIN range have had reports of water retention in all 4 doors.
Investigations have shown that the lower door drain holes are becoming blocked by movement of the sound deadener pad which is fitted to the inside of the doors.
ACTION REQUIRED
At the earliest opportunity or upon customer complaint of door water retention, check the vehicles within the above VIN range to determine that the side door drain holes are clear of any blockage.

PROCEDURE
Check both front and rear doors for blockage at the bottom drain holes (shown in the illustration). The front doors have 2 drain holes, the rear doors have only one drain hole.
If the drain holes are blocked, use a suitable tool, and carefully clear the blockage.
NOTE:
Care must be taken to avoid damaging the paint work, when unblocking the drain holes.
