Repair Procedures

Rear Interior Light And Left Rear Quarter Panel

1. Remove rear interior light. Refer to Electrical (Section 86) of the Workshop Manual.





2. Locate redundant A/C harness connectors in the headliner (figure 1).

3. Foam wrap the connectors and tape together any excess wiring (figure 1).

4. Locate the interior light connector and foam wrap connector block as shown in figure 1.

5 Reinstall the interior light.

6. Remove LH rear lamp access cover to gain access to the A/C connector block. The connector block is located behind the LH rear lamp assembly. Refer to Electrical (Section 86) of the workshop manual.





7. Locate the redundant A/C connectors. Foam wrap the connectors and tape up any excess wiring (figure 2).

8. Reinstall trim panel.

"A" Post Rattle

1. Remove A" post interior trim. Refer to Chassis and Body (Section 76) of the Workshop manual.





2. Locate tweeter harness connector and foam wrap connector block (figure 3).

3. Reinstall "A" post trim.

Rear Cargo Door Rattle

1. Remove the rear cargo door trim panel. Refer to Chassis and Body (Section 76) of the Workshop manual





2. Locate C.D.L connector. Foam wrap connector block and tape up excess wiring (figure 4)

3. Locate heated rear window wiring and tape together excess wiring (figure 4).

4. Locate rear wiper harness and tape the harness to the stiffener bracket (figure 4).

5. Locate unused cage nuts for the interior handle. Use butyl tape to fill the cage nuts to ensure that they cannot rattle in the rear door (figure 4)

6. Reinstall the rear end door trim panel.
