DETAIL

Vehicles in the above VIN ranges may exhibit vibration/noise from the center area of the floorpan/body. This condition may be caused by the left hand side transmission mounting bracket making contact with the floorpan/body.

ACTION REQUIRED

At pre-delivery inspection or upon customer complaint, check the gearbox mounts are correctly torqued and clear of the floorpan.

Additional washer WA 112081L

PROCEDURE





If the gearbox mount is not at the bottom of the mounting slot.

1) Remove the fixing nut.

2) Reposition the gearbox to the bottom of the slot.

3) Fit an additional washer, and replace the nut.

4) Re-torque the gearbox mount to 48 ft.lbs (65 Nm).

5) Check that clearance between the gearbox and floor has been achieved

Note:
Check all other transmission mount hardware are to the correct torque settings.
