AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

SITUATION:

CD PLAYER SKIPS

Owners of Kensington and Vitesse Range Rover models may experience CD "skip" at times, particularly when a high volume level is selected.

* NOTE:
This "skip" is due to vibration of the CD player caused by high subwoofer output and not road shock inputs. *

RESOLUTION:

REPLACE CD PLAYER MOUNTING BRACKET

In order to address customer concerns with CD skipping, a new CD Player mounting bracket has been developed. This new bracket improves vibration protection in order to avoid skipping. In addition an extra air vents to be created in the LH trim panel. Use the following procedure to install the new mounting bracket and create the new air vent.
