THANK YOU! With your help and the introduction of the Diagnostic Trouble Code Report (DTCR), Land Rover North America, Inc. and Land Rover UK have learned a great deal as to what can cause the "check engine" light to illuminate. However, we still have a lot more work to do.
To further enhance the DTCR and aid in the correct diagnosis of GEMS related concerns, for the next 90 days, we have set up a dedicated GEMS HelpLine, (800) 583-9448. This dedicated GEMS HelpLine will be staffed separately from the Technical HelpLine by LRNA and LR UK personnel.
To assist in a prompt response, please review Service Bulletin W96-007. A fully completed DTCR with all freeze frame information should be faxed to us at 301-731-9814, prior to calling the GEMS HelpLine.
The DTCR should be used for ALL GEMS and EAT faults and should be completed and faxed for all faults even if assistance is not required.
