P0412 - Secondary air injection system, switching valve fault.: Last occurrence - signal fault

Possible causes:
1. Open circuit C0331/3 (NU) - C1886/4 (NU).
2. Connectors C0331, C1886.
3. Secondary air pump relay.
4. Secondary air pump.

1. Open circuit C0331/3 (NU) - C1886/4 (NU).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

2. Connectors C0331, C1886.
CONNECTOR
Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

3. Secondary air pump relay.
RELAY
Check for relay not correctly seated, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins, relay coil open circuit, faulty relay contacts, ensure power & ground feeds to relay coil are present and that the relay is energised.
