Fuel Injectors
Description
Each fuel injector (total of 8) is driven directly by the ECM.
The ECM monitors the output power stages of the injector drivers for electrical faults. A fault is detected if any of the following conditions is satisfied:-
1. Fuel injector driver short circuit to B+, i.e. the driver current is greater than 2.4 Amps.
2 Fuel injector driver short circuit to GND, i.e. the driver voltage is less than 3 volts.
3. Fuel injector driver open circuit, i.e. the driver voltage is less than 5 V.
