P0710
JATCO Fault P0710 - ATF Temperature Sensor
P0710 - ATF temperature sensor signal out of range.
Possible causes:
1. Open Circuit C243/7(WK) to C932/39(WK).
2. Open Circuit C243/8(KB) to C932/20(KB).
3. Short Circuit C243/7(WK) to Ground or Battery.
4. Short Circuit C243/8(KB) to Ground or Battery.
5. Connectors C243,C932.
6. ATF temperature sensor.
7. JATCO ATCU ECU.
1. Open Circuit C243/7(WK) to C932/39(WK).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.
2. Open Circuit C243/8(KB) to C932/20(KB).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.
3. Short Circuit C243/7(WK) to Ground or Battery.
SHORT_CIRCUIT
Check resistance < 5.0 Ohms.
4. Short Circuit C243/8(KB) to Ground or Battery.
SHORT_CIRCUIT
Check resistance < 5.0 Ohms.
5. Connectors C243,C932.
CONNECTOR
Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins
6. ATF temperature sensor.
If the vehicle speed exceeds 12 mph (20 kph) while the ATF temperature sensor reads less than -30 degree C then a 'ATF Temperature Sensor Failure' fault is reported.
7. JATCO ATCU ECU.
