Radiator Outlet Coolant Temperature Sensor Open Circuit Or Short To Supply

P1118 - Radiator outlet coolant temperature sensor.: Short circuit to V Batt.

Possible causes:
1. Connector MS43 ECM C331, Coolant temperature sensor C4445.
2. Open circuit C331/39 (UG) - C4445/2 (UG).
3. Open circuit C606/38 (GU) - C4445/1 (GU).
4. Short circuit C331/39 (UG) - Supply.
5. Coolant temperature sensor.
6. MS43 ECM.

1. Connector MS43 ECM C331, Coolant temperature sensor C4445.
CONNECTOR
Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

2. Open circuit C331/39 (UG) - C4445/2 (UG).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

3. Open circuit C606/38 (GU) - C4445/1 (GU).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

4. Short circuit C331/39 (UG) - Supply.
PASS VALUES: 0 - 1 Volts
