Brake And Brake Light Test Switches Inconsistent

P1574 - Brake switches.: Implausible signal/condition

Possible causes:
1. Connector Brake switches C652, MS43 ECM C331.
2. Open circuit C331/24 (PG) - C652/4 (PG).
3. Open circuit C331/28 (GR) - C652/3 (GR).
4. Short circuit C652/4 (PG) - Ground.
5. Short circuit C652/3 (GR) - Ground.
6. Short circuit C652/4 (PG) - Supply.
7. Short circuit C652/3 (GR) - Supply.
8. Brake switch.
9. MS43 ECM.

1. Connector Brake switches C652, MS43 ECM C331.
CONNECTOR
Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

2. Open circuit C331/24 (PG) - C652/4 (PG).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

3. Open circuit C331/28 (GR) - C652/3 (GR).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

4. Short circuit C652/4 (PG) - Ground.
PASS VALUES: 6 - 14 Volts

5. Short circuit C652/3 (GR) - Ground.
SHORT_CIRCUIT
Check resistance < 5.0 Ohms.

6. Short circuit C652/4 (PG) - Supply.
SHORT_CIRCUIT
Check resistance < 5.0 Ohms.

7. Short circuit C652/3 (GR) - Supply.
PASS VALUES: 0 - 2.4 Volts

8. Brake switch.
Check for open/short circuit with switch open/closed

9. MS43 ECM.
