Pedal Demand 1 Sensor Signal Open Circuit Or Short To Ground

P2122 - Pedal demand sensor pot 1.: Short circuit to ground.

Possible causes:
1. Connector MS43 ECM C331, Pedal demand sensor C175.
2. Open circuit C331/8 (YR) - C175/5 (YR).
3. Open circuit C331/7 (RU) - C175/4 (RU).
4. Short circuit C175/5 (YR) - Ground.
5. Pedal demand sensor.
6. MS43 ECM.

1. Connector MS43 ECM C331, Pedal demand sensor C175.
CONNECTOR
Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

2. Open circuit C331/8 (YR) - C175/5 (YR).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

3. Open circuit C331/7 (RU) - C175/4 (RU).
OPEN_CIRCUIT
Check resistance > 1M Ohms.

4. Short circuit C175/5 (YR) - Ground.
SHORT_CIRCUIT
Check resistance < 5.0 Ohms.
