Tilt Steering Wheel Functionality

Range Rover (LM) 5A186159 Onwards

SITUATION:

NEW STEERING WHEEL FUNCTIONALITY

A customer may be concerned that when the ignition key is turned to the OFF position the steering column moves into the fully-up "tilt" position, but does not move into the fully-in "reach" position.

The functionality has changed from previous models to the fully up tilt position only. The revised operation improves the driver's leg room and facilitates exiting/entering the vehicle.

RESOLUTION:

CAUTION:
There is nothing wrong with the vehicle operation described above and no effort should be made to repair this condition.

EXPLAIN NEW VEHICLE FEATURE TO CUSTOMER

Should a customer express concern regarding the above, the customer should be informed of the updated vehicle function.
