Type:
Two piece, variable length steel tube with isolated center bearing and swaged front section to provide controlled collapse of the shaft during a crash.

Constant Velocity Joints:
Pluging constant velocity joints are positioned at the front and rear of the shaft with a fixed Hookes type universal joint at the center.
