Service Repair No - 86.30.09

Removal

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the horn access panel.
^ Remove the 5 clips.
^ Remove the 3 screws.





3. Remove the horn assembly.
^ Remove the bolt.
^ Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.





NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

4. Remove the 2 horns from the mounting bracket.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.

Installation
1. Install the 2 horns to the mounting bracket.
^ Tighten the 2 nuts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the horn assembly.
^ Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
^ Install the bolt and tighten to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the horn access panel.
