Interior Lighting



Inspection and Verification

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious electrical faults.

^ Map reading lamp(s) condition ^ Fuses Battery junction box (BJB)
and fitment 11Elink 15E BJB - link Central junction box (CJB) - Fuse 1P
^ Vanity mirror lamp(s) condition
and fitment ^ BJB
^ Glove compartment lamp condition
and fitment ^ CJB
^ Footwell lamp(s) condition
and fitment ^ Battery saver relay
^ Ignition switch glow ring condition
and fitment ^ Wiring harness
^ Door mirror approach lamp(s)
condition and fitment ^ Loose or corroded connector(s)
^ Puddle lamp(s) condition
and fitment ^ Main interior lamp switch
^ Luggage compartment lamp
condition and fitment ^ Map reading lamp switches

3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. Use the approved diagnostic system or a scan tool to retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) before moving onto the symptom chart or DTC index.
