Hydraulic Timing Chain Tensioner LH

Service Repair No - 12.65.65

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the intake manifold.





3. CAUTION: Before the disconnection or removal of any components, ensure the area around joint faces and connections are clean. Plug any open connections to prevent contamination.

Remove the LH hydraulic timing chain tensioner.

Installation
1. Install the LH hydraulic timing chain tensioner.
^ Clean the component mating faces.
^ Tighten the tensioner to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the intake manifold.
3. Connect the battery ground cable.
