Service Repair No - 19.22.08

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the throttle body gasket.
3. Remove the fuel temperature sensor.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.

WARNING: The spilling of fuel is unavoidable during this operation. Ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent fire and explosion.

CAUTION:
^ To prevent damage to components, use an additional wrench when loosening or tightening unions.
^ Before disconnecting or removing components, ensure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.





Installation
1. Install the fuel temperature sensor.
^ Clean the component mating faces.
^ Apply sealant to the sensor thread.
^ Tighten the sensor to 7 Nm (5 ft. lbs.).
^ Connect the electrical connector.

2. Install the throttle body gasket.
3. Connect the battery ground cable.
