Front Windshield Wiper Blade Assembly

Range Rover Sport (LS) VIN: 6A900129 onwards

CONDITION SUMMARY:

NEW FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLY

Situation:
A new front wiper blade assembly has been released for service. Improved manufacturing processes and dimensional tolerances have been incorporated.

Action:
Should a new wiper blade be required, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to correctly install both front wiper blade assemblies. It is important to maintain the correct orientation of the blade assembly.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

INSTALL NEW FRONT WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLIES

NOTE:
A new style blade assembly is visually identified by the presence of a date code. The date code may be inverted with the blade assembly correctly installed.

NOTE:
The new wiper blade assemblies must be installed so the "lip" of the spoiler is orientated at the top edge, as viewed from the front of the vehicle looking toward the windshield.





1. Verify that each replacement wiper blade assembly has a date code, indicated by the black arrow. (Figure 1)





2. Install both front wiper blade assemblies, ensuring the 'lip' of the spoiler, indicated by the black arrow, is orientated at the top edge. (Figure 2)
